- People generally think they are better-looking than they are and think their image, when enhanced, looks more like themselves than an unenhanced picture.
- The image of one's own face in a mirror is half the size of one's face and consistenly stays that size no matter how far away the individual is from the mirror. This has to do with optics.
I mention this because Star Runner works in its head and I thought it might be curious to ponder this data in relation to Star's own image of itself. Star's VR is therefore part computer memory and part mirror which distorts Star's own image of itself in the same way humans and other self-aware animals respond to mirrors.
